Now, the night program is held on the summit areas of Hakuba from Aug. 8th (Sat) to 14th (Fri). On Aug. 8th (Sat) at Iwatake, there was a night event named as “Summit Amazing View Magic Hours & Candle Night” and the operation of the gondola was extended to 8:30 p.m. Although the weather was cloudy unfortunately, the people looked to be enjoying the music live by “Mr. Moi”, a Hakuba local band, started from 6:00 p.m.

The 2 members of “Mr. Moi” gave a funny and interesting talk about their lifestyle and Iwatake on the breaks during their performance. This is the second time for Iwatake to held a music live here. The first time was held on Apr. 30th (Thu) in front of the three peaks of Hakuba as a remote live.

After the music live, hand-made candles were given to the guests and they spent a chilling nighttime with the gentle lights at their favorite spots. These candles are made from recycled used oil as a contribution to SDGs.

Along with the long-time operation of the gondola, THE CITY BAKERY and SKYARK DECK CAFE (Photo) were also extended their operation time. At SKYARK DECK CAFE, people can enjoy “ALCOHOL FREE COCKTAIL” (8 mocktails including Moscow Mule), “HOT DOG” “VEGE BOWL” and other menus.
