The members of Subaru Mountain Bike Club have posed cheerfully under the nice weather. In Hakuba Iwatake MTB Park, all the courses including both downhill courses, Alps and Kamikaze, are opened during the Obon holidays. “MTB Lady’s Day”, ticket discount for ladies, and lottery event will be held on Aug. 11 (Sun).

As I sit on out door chair of picnic lounge, I felt wind blowing from the north-east pleasant under the shade of tarp. When I saw the village-side, the sheep were eating grass the the bottom of the lounge.

It has been hot for many days in Japan, but it was very cool in the Iwatake summit (beech forest) and Nezuko-no-mori Forest. The ground was nicely soft and it was nice to walk there.

HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR was very crowded and the terrace and dining area are almost full at 10 a.m. There were long line at 11 a.m. but the bridge was widened from this season and it was comfortable to coming and going to the terrace.

A couple was taking shooting photos to celebrate their wedding. All the people in the terrace was congratulating their wedding. By the way, the Northern Alps was covered by the clouds before the open.
