“Autumn Leaves Festival” was held inside and outside Usagidaira Terrace on Sep.28 (Sat) and Sep.29 (Sun). Shinano-no-Kuni Matsukawa Kyogaku Drum performance was held outdoors from 11 a.m. and indoors from 1:00 p.m. at Usagidaira Terrace, although it was cloudy with rain at times (shown in the photo).

Crepe, Onsen Manju, Oyaki Dumplings, agricultural products, Okowa (sticky rice), Gohei-mochi, mushroom soup, were served at food stalls. “Pork Frank” “Herb Frank” “Boronia Sausage” (in the photo) were on sale for 300 yen at Hakuba Ham, which started a business in Shinden Area in Iwatake. Meanwhile, spring clothes, summer clothes and T-shirts were 20 ~ 30% off indoors at Hakuba Yamatoya.

Children were having fun with the natural snow, which had been kept from the spring, beside the shop (as shown in the photo). There was a free big telescope to look at stars too. A mascot in Hakuba Village, “Victoire・Cheval Blanc・Murao III” also joined us during lunch time.

Sisters were making “Starmap Umbrella” (2,000 yen) inside the building (as shown in the photo). You can draw zodiac signs on a plastic umbrella based on the template. You can also try making “Handmade Astronomical Telescope” (4,500 yen) and “Plasniphere” (300 yen).

Some visitors were relaxing on deck chairs, hammocks and other types of chairs at HAKUBA MOUNTAIN BEACH. The store offered new September menus, including “Vegetable Pot Au Feu with Hakuba Pork” and “Spice Ginger Milk Tea”
