It kept raining from July 4 (Wed) to yesterday, July 8 (Sun). I went above clouds when I was riding the Grat Quad, and the summer sky spread above me. There was no wet point on the trail, and I could walk comfortably. However, the trail near No.2 Cairn was muddy.

Iwashimotsuke, Ibuki-jakoso, Mineusuyukiso, and Miyama-murasaki were in bloom in the rocky areas between No.2 Cairn and Shimo-no-kaba. There were especially lots of Iwashimotsuke in bloom (shown in the photo). I found many buds as well. I think we will be able to enjoy those cute flowers blooming for a while.

There was no wind until around 9:30 a.m.. In the Happo-ike Pond, Kaerazu-no-ken, Tengu-no-kashira, and Hakuba-sanzan were clearly reflected. The clouds coming from the north started to cover the Happo-ike Pond around 10:00 a.m., along with the clouds that reached No.3 Cairn through the southern slope.

Afterwards, the trail between Happo-ike Pond and Shimo-no-kaba got rapidly covered with the clouds. Happo-one Nature Trail and the trail to Mt. Karamatsu were crowded even after the heavy rain. I saw some people using rain covers over their backpack because the weather forecast said it would rain in the afternoon.

As I went down to No.2 Cairn and reached below the cloud, the sun was started to shine again. In addition to Nikkokisuge which were at their best, I found a lot of Kobaikeso and Tateyama-utsubogusa (shown in the photo) were in bloom in the lower area of No.2 Cairn.
