The autumn tints are moving down to the middle parts of mountains. As of Oct. 11 (Wed), in the highland areas which has an elevation of about 1,400m, such as along Alpen Quad and Kurobishi No.3 Pair, the autumn tints are in the peak! Besides, the trees along the gondola also started to change colors.

The autumn tints in Happo Nature Trail which has the elevation of 1,830－2,060m looked to almost finish. The sea of clouds was very beautiful and we could see this splendid view until 9:30 a.m. The sunlight was warm and the temperature was not cold, so we could enjoy trekking comfortably.

During walking in Boardwalk Course, I found the break of clouds like a small window and I could see the townscape of Hakuba. This morning, we could always see the peaks of Northern Alps, so almost all of people chose Ridge Trail. We could see various faces of mountains as we climbed up.

At around 10:00 a.m, the sea of clouds had broken in the north east, and then, Kubiki Sankai Peaks, such as Mt. Hiuchi, Mt. Myoko and Mt. Amakazari showed its whole bodies and the peaks changed into red. In the south east, the sea of clouds remained for a long while and we could see just the peaks of Mt. Asama and Mt. Azumaya.

There were a little waves on Happo-ike Pond, but there were a lot of people on the view deck. After that, when I got back to Kurobishi-daira at 10:30 a.m, I could still see Northern Alps.
