The fog came from the valley fast and the visibility got worse and better again and again. The clouds in the sky was moving rapidly as well and the sun cast the strong sunlight sometimes. However, it was not too hot and blowing a comfortable breeze.

I saw many fall flowers along the trail, such as Takanematsumushisou, Iwashobu and Yotsubahiyodori. Especially, good-shaped flowers of Tamurasou (Photo) were blooming everywhere.

Because of the pressure front, there were thick clouds in the west sky, so we could not see the peaks of Northern Alps. Iwaichou was getting yellow in the mountains and I heard people saying, “Plants are getting to autumn tints already.”

After Happo-ike Pond, I climbed up to the ridge toward Shimo-no-kanba, the wind got stronger. It was very refreshing and cooled me down comfortably.

In Kami-no-kanba, there were also Takanematsumushisou and Tamurasou. Hakusanshajin was also blooming from Happo-ike Sanso Hut. The color was pale in the sunny place and deep purple in the shades. The difference of the color was interesting and I could find various flowers.
