We could see the peaks of Northern Alps until 6:00 a.m, but they has gone behind the clouds at around 7:00 a.m. At that time, the temperature was 16 degrees in Kurobishi-daira (1,680m), much cooler than usual. There were people trekking to Mt. Karamatsu with big backpacks.

Although I expected that the visibility got better at Happo-ike Pond…, it was still foggy at 7:40 a.m. The surface of the water was very quiet like a mirror and I took a rest, seeing the fantastic view. It was forecast to be sunny in the morning, so I saw people waiting the chance of shooting at the view deck.

Around Happo-ike, Kugaisou is in its peak. Especially, the purple flowers were blooming beautifully along the wooden stairs in the north east. They can be seen along the trails as well.

Besides, Miyamamurasaki (Photo), Oyamasoba and Takaneibukibouhu are put lively flowers. Takanematsumushisou which is a flower of summer and autumn already bloomed as well. Over 80 kinds of alpine flowers are in Happo now in this peak season.

The visibility got better after 8:00 a.m, but the sky was still overcast. By the way, August has started and Kurobishi No.3 Pair is open at 5:45 a.m. every day until Aug. 15 (Tue)!!
