It seems like rainy season has came back, and a week has passed from last report. The sunlight was shining thinly at aroud 7 a.m., but the fog started to cover the trail when I reached Happo-ike Sanso.

The trail was crowded and many people were choosing the boardwalk instead of the ridge trail because the rocks of the ridge trail were slippery. At the foot Otogirisou (photo), Shimitukesou, Kurumayuri and Tateyama-utsubogusa were at their best. Kinkouka were also started to bloom above Shakujii Cairn.

The surroundings of Cairn No.3 and Happo-ike Pond were also covered with the fog. But the temperature was kept low, about 20 degree at 10 a.m., and people were enjoying the cool air.

In the surroundings, Hosobatsumegusa (photo), Kumoma-miminagusa, Kugaisou, Miyama-murasaki and Takane-nadeshiko were blooming freshly. Chinguruma and Miyama-azumagiku were blooming at the area where the snow melted late. Sometimes the thick fog was covered Happo-ike Pond.

When I was descending, the rain started to fall lightly but rainwear was not necessary. The contrast of Nikkokisuge and the green of Kamaike Marsh was impressive. Nikkokisuge pass the peak a little but it was beautiful with raindrops.
