We had a calm morning with the soft sunlight. Kurobishi No.3 Pair Lift is open at 5:45 on weekends now and this morning, there was a line in front of the lift before its opening. The clouds hanging over Northern Alps were breaking up gradually, and I took photos of them again and again when they showed their peaks clearly.

In Broadwalk, the remaining snow on the wooden paths had melted away completely. Then, we do not have to walk on the snow, so it became more comfortable to trek this route. The flowers blooming around here were those in Spring and early Summer, such as Yukiwarisou, Tateyamarindo and Miyamaazumagiku.

In the east face of Broadwalk, Nikkokisuge was blooming beautifully. Besides, Iwaichou, Shimotsukesou, Tateyamautsubogusa, Miyamakogomegusa, Kurumayuri and other alpine flowers started to bloom. Nikkokisuge in Kamaike Marsh was also in the peak.

Now, it is the top season of trekking, so the trails were very crowded with people. I saw a lot of groups, such as the 5 university students from Kanagawa Pref. and there was lines of people sometimes. At around 7:30 a.m, the clouds came up gradually and the mountains went behind them often.

At 6:40 a.m. when I arrived at Happo-ike Pond, there were people taking a rest already. Today, it was hardly blowing a wind, so we could see the beautiful veiw of the pond reflecting the mountains. By the way, the summer trail toward Mt. Karamatsu below Ougi-no-setsuden has been open (There is a 40-meter long snow trail).
