The hazy blue sky was spread this morning. It was a sunny July day and crowded from the morning, especially with many mountaineer with large bags in the early in hours. The temperature was kept high from July 8 (Sat) and sweat came out immediately as I started to climb.

The boardwalk was opened on July 7 and we walk on the snow for only a short distance before the point of the route gets together with Ridge Trail. Shojou-bakama and Harurindo were in bloom and the ears of Watasuge are at their best. When I reached No.2 Cairn, cool wind was blowing through the ridge and it cooled down my body.

The alpine flowers were now in full bloom around Happo-ike Pond. Takanebara (in photo) are now at their best in the gravel layer and there are some colonies. The flowers are very similar to Oo-takanebara which started bloom in Kamaike Marsh. But they are recognizable because tip of the leaves of Takanebara were round

There were cute flowers of Kumoma-sumire (in photo) near No.3 Cairn. In addition Hosoba-tsumegusa, Ibuki-jakousou and Miyama-murasaki were starting to bloom and Happo-usuyukisou and Miyama-azumagiku were in full bloom.Yukiwariso are also in bloom where the snow thawing was late.

The snow in Happo-ike completely finally melted. Though the sky was hazy but many people were taking the photos of the regular scenery.
