The blue clear sky was spread and the view of Hakuba Sanzan was so beautiful that I couldn’t take my eyes off them. Also Hakuba Sanzan was reflected on the water-surface of small pond beautifully in Kamaike Marsh.

The temperature at the ridge was 15 degree Celsius at 9 a.m. and it was very comfortable. As I started to walk steep rock trail, I sweat for a little but it was not disturbing. When I stopped sometimes, the alpine flowers at the foot and the panoramic view relaxed me.
[Happo-ike Sanso Hut－Shakujii Cairn, Happo Nature Trail]
The snow between Cairn No.2 and Happo Cairn is decreasing day by day. The snow got thin at some part so I walked carefully. The snow field near Cairn No.2 was open to play with snow. The entrance is diagonally in front the toilet (not open yet).

The alpine flowers were starting to bloom. Koiwakagami (on photo) were not in full bloom and I found some of them under bamboo leaf. Harurindo, Yukiwariso, Kijimushiro and Miyama-azumagiku were almost in full bloom.

The clouds started to cover the sky from 9 a.m. and the sunlight was blocked for sometimes. At the same time the Northern Alps was started to cover by the clouds. Happo-ike Pond was mostly covered with snow and only small area at the west-side was melted. And also many snow was remained at nearby Happo Cairn and the mountain trail to Mt. Karamatsu.
