We had a cool and refreshing morning, although there were thin clouds in the east sky. In this summer, “CORONA ESCAPE TERRACE” will be open as well as the winter season, which was newly open on Dec. 23, 2016. Menus are Corona Extra Beer, Giant Marshmallow, Tornado Sausage and so on (July 17－Oct. 15, 11:00 a.m.－3:00 p.m.).

The clouds hanging over Northern Alps gradually grew and it blocked the sunlight sometimes. It got cooler with the wind and my body was cooled down comfortably.

In Kamaike Marsh, Mizubasho started to bloom and I found Harurindo and and Miyamaazumagiku during trekking from Happo-ike Sanso Hut to Cairn No.2. There were Umehatazao (Photo) after Happo Cairn and Yukiwarisou, Kijimushiro around Happo-ike Pond.

We walked on the snow only before Happo Cairn and Happo-ike Pond. The trails were not wet like the last time, so we could enjoy trekking easily. At around 10:30 a.m, we had the sunlight again through the breaks of the clouds.

The amount of the remaining snow looked to decrease greatly because of the wind. In the south part of Cairn No.2, I found schoolchildren playing and sledding with small tarps.
