It has got chiller and chiller day by day in these days. The temperature in Kurobishi-daira was just 6 degrees at 8:30 a.m. Even though we could find sings of early Winter in the air, the first gondola had a long line and the trails were very crowded in this morning.

The clouds were hanging over the mountain foot. I climbed up over the clouds around Happo-ike Sanso Hut, but the sky was still slightly overcast. We could see the peaks of Togakushi and Suga-daira across the sea of clouds, and even Mt. Yatsugatake.

When the sunlight was blocked off, it was a little cold. However, it became so warm that I did not need my jacket because of the strong sunlight around 9:00 p.m. The wind was also blowing in the upper part, but it was not cold anymore. The great view of Kaerazu-no-ken really impressed me.

Happo-ike was rippling, so it did not reflect the mountains, but I found many people taking photos at the view deck. After 10:00 p.m, thin clouds came from the west and covered the sky again.

The trees in the lower part also stated to turn into red, yellow and orange. The leaves had already fallen down from some trees around Shakujii Cairn. By the way, Mt. Hakkouda in Aomori Pref. had the first snow on Oct. 10 (Mon).
