The steep ridges, panoramic views and dynamic movement of the clouds…, even though the alpine flower season has passed, Happo-one still deeply fascinates people with its attractive trails. Today was a fine day and the gondola and Kurobishi No.3 Pair started the operation around 7:00 a.m. By the way, in the weekends of September, the gondola and Kurobishi No.3 Pair will be open earlier (former: from 6:00 a.m, latter: from 6:15 a.m.).

We could see the sea of clouds in the east. The clouds rose up very slowly in this morning. In the cool and refreshing air, Oyamasoba and Waremokou changed their color into red and yellow gradually.

Around 8:30 a.m, the mountain trails got very crowded with people and there was a long line in the trail between Cairn No.2 to No.3. The faces were covered with autumn yellow grasses. Nanakamado and Iwahaze bore red seeds as well.

“Hakuba International Trail Run” will be held tomorrow. I met a man who would take part in the race and he said he was going to run up to Mt. Goryu today. We wish a good luck to you tomorrow!

A father and his son who gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!” said they would climb Mt. Karamatsu. The fine weather made them excited and they gave me a nice poses.
