Because of the 12th typhoon, Namtheun, there were a lot of clouds in the sky. We could see the blue sky and peak of Mt. Hakubayarigatake just when I got to Happo-ike Sanso, but it became overcast soon after that. The sunlight was blocked off and it was breezing, so I could trek comfortably.

The mountain-foot station had a long line before the open and the trails were very crowded with people around 8:00 a.m. People from Kanagawa Pref. gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your report!” They said they would go trekking for 2 days.

Takanematsumushisou is still blooming beautifully. This light violet flower was trembling with a fall breeze. Besides, Hakusantaigeki changed its color into red. Those flowers made me look forward the season of bright autumn tints.

The weather got better before 9:00 a.m and the sun started to cast the sunlight in Happo-ike area. The wind was blowing clouds rapidly, so the mountains showed us the great peaks sometimes.

Finally, we could see the beautiful view given by the mirror-like pond and the great mountains. I heard some people saying, “How beautiful!”. I could not move from there because I did not want to miss it.
