I climbed up to Happo Nature Trail by Kurobishi No.3 Pair Lift at about 6:00 a.m. The beautiful view of the sea of clouds and the fine weather welcomed us and made us happy and excited.

I found colorful alpine flowers around my feet, such as blue Hakusanshajin, yellow Kinkouka and Otogirisou, red Shimotsukesou and Tamurasou. The number of Tamurasou has been increasing in these days and they put out a lot of puds (Photo) especially in Ridge Trail.

When I got to the view spot beside Happo-ike Pond, I heard people saying, “Northern Alps are clearly mirrored!” and “How beautiful!” Some people were waiting until the surface of the pond became quiet to take photos. In the northern-west part of it, I could see colonies of Kugaisou and Takanematsumushisou.

Around 8:00 a.m, more and more people started trekking to Mt. Karamatsu from Happo-ike Pond. Today, the fine weather remained for much longer time than usual, so we could enjoy the grand views of mountains of Hakuba, Kaerazunoken, Mt. Goryu and Mt. Kashimayariga-take. Fortunately, the weather forecast says it will fine all day tomorrow.

I climbed down and back to Happo-ike Pond. The view point was almost filled with people and even got more crowded. The mountain view particular in the summer season and the cool air healed my fatigue. You can spend a chilled-out time and special lunch time in this scenic point.
