The rainy season is not still over, but we have three straight fine days. There were many people who were enjoying trekking to Happo-ike Pond and mountaineering with big backpacks. The gondola had a long line of people in this morning, and it took 15－18 minutes to get on the gondola.

Akabanashimotsukesou (Photo) started to bloom in the lower parts of the trails. The alpine flowers of the summer, such as Kurumayuri, Hanachidakesashi and Tateyamautsubogusa were also in full bloom. Miyamaazumagiku showed lively flowers in the part where the snow had remained for a long time along Broadwalk.

The sun was casting the strong sunlight, but the cool breeze made us comfortable. The pond was rippling because of the wind, so the surface did not reflect the mountains. However, the grand view made us excited. People visited the view deck one after another and took photos.

I found Chinguruma, Iwaichou and Yukiwarisou around Happo-ike Pond. Along the trails near Cairn No.3, there were lovely small alpine flowers of Miyamamurasaki (Photo), Hosobatsumekusa, Kumomamiminagusa and Ibukijakousou.

I met much more people in Ridge Trail than Broadwalk. Today, the sky did not get overcast even after the noon, so we could see the mountain ridges of Northern Alps. By the way, Nikkokisuge in Kamaike Marsh passed its peak already.
