Happo-one / Sunny & Cloudy2016.Jun.26
It was pouring in the last evening. The temperature remained low, 12 degrees, in this morning and it was blowing a north wind, so I needed to wear a jacket. Nikkokisuge started to come out along Ridge Trail.

The rainy season is still holding in Japan, so I met a few people just after the open. However the peak season will come soon, so more and more families with children and young couples began climbing up as time passed. Some parts were slushy, but it did not matter for trekking.

On the way to Shimo-no-kanba from Cairn No. 3, I found beautiful Miyamaazumagiku and a few other alpine flowers. The clouds always hanging over Northern Alps, and the sky got more overcast around Happo-ike Pond.

Iwashimotsuke was at their best now in Ridge Trail. Besides, edelweiss of Happo was blooming everywhere in Happo Nature Trail! Around Happo-ike Pond, Iwaicho looked to be ready for blossom.

Thank you for the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!” Around 10:00 a.m, the weather became more cloudy. By the way, the toilet near Cairn No. 2 was available and the wooden path from the gondola station to Grat Quad was also open after repairing now.
