The weather was fine and because of weekend it was crowded with people. The many people were climbing up the ridge trail in the morning. It was not that hot in the moutain foot and comfortable with long sleeve shirts.

The bloom of the alpine flowers were settled down for a while. But the white flowers of Iwashimotsuke attract attention in the lower part of Ridge Trail.

It was drizzling yesterday in the mountain but the trail was almost dry and comfortable to walk. Further, toilet near No.2 Cairn is not open yet.

I reached the Happo-ike Pond at 9:30. The remaining snow on the pond was only few and Northern Alps was reflecting on the surface of water. Most people were heading to Mt. Karamatsu after short rest.

The pink flower of Taniutsugi was in full bloom around Kamaike Marsh and upper part of Alpen Quad. The board walk of Kamaike Marsh are closed because the restoration work is in progress. So take the alternative route following the guide plate.
