As of 7:30 a.m, it was sleeting in the village area and snowing in the upper part of Shirakaba Area. Surprisingly, the dry snow was falling quietly in Tsuga-no-mori Area (Photo)! There was 2cm fresh snowfall in this area. The snow was much better, drier and more fluffy than we expected.

Shirakaba Area (Photo) had just a thin snowfall in the morning, however, it reached about 2cm deep when I came down here back from Tsuga-no-mori in 1 hour. The snow was getting heavier and heavier as time passed, so I decided to go up to the top of the ski area again.

When I arrived in Tsuga-no-mori again, the snowfall around the station of Tsugaike Ropeway and ski slopes reached around 4-5cm deep. Japan Meteorological Agency announced that La Nina pattern seems to occur this year on Nov. 10 (Wed) and I realized this fully when I saw the snowfall this morning.
