It was snowing slightly on the upper parts of the ski area last night and the slopes were covered with thin fresh snow. The weather was beautiful with the bright sunlight this morning, but the weak north wind was cold. The white mountain range of Ushiro-tateyama Renpo (Photo) was standing out in the blue sky and I couldn’t take my eyes off them for a while.

I could make carving very comfortably on the nicely firm groomed slope of corn snow in Tsuga-no-mori (Photo). The groomed slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was nicely soft, where the banked slalom was removed. It was so quiet that I felt like I was skiing in my private slope.

Although Gotenba Course (Photo) was nicely firm in the morning, its groomed slope already got wet and soft at 10:30 a.m. However, the slope kept its fresh and flat surface because I hardly saw people coming into this course. Some parts changed its color by the ground, but my skis still ran well there.

In TG PARKS, totally 11 items including the 11m kicker (Photo) are still available in good condition. By the way, a snowboard test-riding event for women is held at the summit station of the gondola from yesterday to today (*Free, ID required). “Yamamoto Kogaku Test-riding Event” will also be held on May 1 (Sat) and May 2 (Sun).
