Tsugaike Kogen / △108cm / Snowy2020.Dec.16

20121601_tsugaikeIt has been snowing heavily from the night of Dec. 13 (Sun) and the officially announced amount of the snow already reaches over 100cm deep!! The fine and dry snow was still falling this morning and the slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair (Photo) had 10cm of fresh snow on the groomed area which was compacted just before the open and 25-30cm on the sides of the slope. We could enjoy riding very comfortably, kicking away the fluffy snow on the soft flat slope.

20121602_tsugaikePeople showed up to the slope later than usual this morning, so we could enjoy the fresh snow again and again. While I was on the ski area, it was very chilly with the temperature of -7.6 degrees. However, the trees on the sides of the slope blocked off the winds, so we did not feel too cold.

20121603_tsugaikeBy the way, you can get the lift ticket very easily if you use “skiosku” (Photo) on the first floor of VILLAGE TSUGAIKE and hold your smartphone with the QR cord over it. At the first time, you will be required to buy the ticket at the ticket office or online shop, but after that, you will just need to recharge your ticket and be able to be free from getting stuck at the ticket office.

20121604_tsugaikeAt Tsuga No.2 Pair Lift station, staffs started to remove the snow at 9:00 a.m. Now, the amount of snow is getting more and more day by day, but Tsuga-no-mori was not open today because the safety check had not been done yet.
