The morning temperature dropped to 0.4 degrees Celsius today. I felt the the cold weather comiong over the next week, although it was not very cold. I sat Yusuke Fukasawa, who runs Bellheart hotel at the mountain foot (pictured: participated in technical skiing competitions ten times; certificated as a SAJ national demonstrator in 2008). “I’m skiing together with my regular customers.”, he said.

The powdery snow was perfectly groomed today. Skiers and snowboarders enjoyed the groomed run covered with 3~4 cm of fresh fluffy snow we had yesteday.The resort reported 27 cm of total snow. I had a great time without worrying bushes because all were covered with snow.

“Let’s Ski Together event with Daichi Hara”, the bronze medalist in the men’s moguls at Pyongyang Olympics, started in front of JACKY’S kitchen at 10:15 am. Many skiers had a great time, although it was announced only yesterday.

Mr. Hara had a photo session with participants after the opening ceremony. This was his first visit to Tsugaike. An autograph session was held too on the terrace of Burger King at 1 pm, after the skiing session.
