Tsugaike Kogen/ ○195cm / Snowy2020.Mar.16
It was snowing lightly at the mountain foot around 7 a.m. but I was able to see the blue sky in the east. Meanwhile, it was snowing silently at the top just after the resort opened. The strong western wind blew the snow against my back when I skied down Han-no-ki Slope. The compacted snow was nicely soft, covered with fresh snow. The fresh snow was about 5 cm deep in the upper area and 8 cm in the middle area.
[Han-no-ki Slope]
The non-compacted snow was covered with about 20 cm of soft fresh snow on the steep slope in the middle area of Han-no-ki. I saw many people skiing/snowboarding one after another, although there were some hard bumps. It was cold with the temperature at -3℃ but I enjoyed carving turns in the light fresh snow.
[Han-no-ki Slope]
The compacted snow was powdery on the steep slope and the pictured slope of Han-no-ki. About 10 cm of fresh snow felt smooth and nice. I didn’t have to walk on my way to Gondola Chukan Station as the ground was covered with snow even in the bottom area.

Oya-no-hara Slope was filled with corduroy patterns in the early morning. The snow got intense and the slope got covered with 5~8 cm of fresh snow around 9:45. I saw some beginners stuck in the snow as the slope was very gentle.
