The spring skiing discount started today. You can get an adult 1-day lift ticket for 3,900 yen and a child 1-day lift ticket for 2,400 yen. It started snowing since the daybreak. Fine snow was falling silently when I got off the gondola. It was foggy but okay in the middle and top area.

The compacted granular snow was firm in Tsuga-no-mori Slope, covered with about 2 cm of fresh snow. I enjoyed skiing down fast using my ski edges. The compacted snow was also nicely firm, covered with about 2 cm of fresh snow along Hannoki High-Speed Pair Lift.

The firmly compacted snow was also covered with about 2 cm of fresh snow in Gotenba Rindo Course. “I look forward to your reports! I’m enjoying this fresh snow. The snow is great here in Tsuga-no-mori, isn’t it?”, a snowboarder living in Hakuba Village said. The compacted snow was hard and rough in the middle area of Hannoki Slope.

“The snow is hard and rough and the snow layer is partially thin. But it’s much better overall compared with the snow in Gifu.”, six snowboarders from Gifu said. Some bushes were uncovered with snow on my way to Hannoki No.3 Quad Station but it was okay. I had to take m skis off and walk as there was little snow around Gondola Chukan Station.
