Tsugaike Kogen / △135cm / Sunny2020.Jan.06

20010601_tsugaikeIt was heavy snow from 1/3 (Fri) to 1/5 (Sun).  Courses opened one after another in the last three days, and all slopes except the horseback course and the bell-sounding hill second slope can be slid this morning.  Tsuga-no-mori slope where the powdered snow was pressed (pictured) was moderately soft and comfortable to turn.

20010602_tsugaikeAlong the high-speed pair of Han-no-ki is wide and flat and comfortable.  In the middle of Han-no-ki (pictured), snow compacted about one-third of the course width, and at the end of the course 70-80% of the course width was compacted and moderately tightened.  The slightly raised bush was not enough to prevent slippage.

20010603_tsugaikeA family from Tokyo told me, “I’m always watching! I’ve been skating since the beginning of the year and I’m going home today. Despite such good conditions … it’s wasteful to return!”  On the Sawa Course (pictured) and the Ridge Course, there was compaction snow but bushes were still scattered.

Always looking at you.  Despite this good burn, there are few people today.  Thank you again this year.  “The family from Kanagawa Prefecture.  The consolidation area along each of the lifts on Kane-no-naru-oka was easy to slip with moderately soft powdered snow.
