Tsugaike No.2 Pair started working ahead of time, before 9 a.m. People one after another got into the lift and headed for the upper area to enjoy the fresh snow. “This is the first time we’ve been here, except for him! Tsuga-no-mori Slope was covered by 25 cm of fresh, fluffy snow. Many skiers/snowboarders were enjoying the non-compacted fresh snow. The central part was compacted, which was as wide as two-three pisten. I enjoyed carving in soft powder snow there.

By the way, Rindo Course opened yesterday except for the bottom part. The middle and lower part of Hannoki Slope also opened today, although it’s non-compacted! I saw some tall grasses on the steep middle slope of Hannoki. However, the lower part was flat and nice without grasses and bushes.

I stopped by at Maruyama Slope on my way to Gondola Chukan Station. “Hi, could you take our picture, please? We went to Hakuba Goryu yesterday. So, we’ll enjoy here, Tsugaike Kogen, today.”, a skier and two snowboarders coming from Shizuoka Prefecture said. The compacted Maruyama Slope was soft and nice without bushes.
