19040402_tsugaike“I enjoy your reports. Please take a photo of a professional alpine boarder Mr. Toda  (the second man from the right) and me!” a man from Hakuba Village said. “I think today’s quality of snow is much better than that of Fujiten, which is my home slope. Hakuba is amazing as I thought!”, Mr. Toda said.
[Hannoki Slope]
19040403_tsugaikeIt was snowy with a strong wind blowing at the upper area when Gondola started operation, however, it stopped snowing around 9 a.m. Powder snow was nicely soft on Tsuga-no-mori Slope and the compacted starting area of Hannoki Slope! The surface got melted and granular as I entered into the middle area (as shown in the photo), but it was still nice and my skis ran smoothly.

19040404_tsugaikeBy the way, it was snowing heavily and the fresh snow lied about 40 cm deep at Hannoki Slope yesterday morning. I enjoyed soft powder snow on the middle steep area of Hannoki. (※ The photo was taken at 9 a.m. yesterday.)
