Four lifts: Gondola, Tsuga No.2 Pair, Hannoki High-Speed Pair and Ropeway will work after today. In addition, Tsugaike Chuo Triple will be available this weekend on Apr.6 (Sat) and Apr.7 (Sun) as there is still plenty of snow at the lower area! It has been chilly these days and we’ve got 40 cm of fresh snow from the night before last and 20 cm from last night.

“We enjoy your reports. We’ll spend whole day skiing today!”, two snowboarders from Toyama said. Powder snow was nicely firm at both Tsuga-no-mori and the area along Hannoki High-Speed Pair Lift! There was about 20 cm of soft fresh snow on the firm, non-compacted area and I enjoyed skiing in the powder snow.

Gezan (descending) routes from the middle area of Hannoki to both Karamatsu and Oyanohara are still accessible. Hannoki Slope was thoroughly compacted from top to bottom this morning. Wet snow was nicely firm and I enjoyed my long way (5,000m) to Gondola Sanroku Station!

Meanwhile, TG PARKS were being set up along Tsuga No.1 Pair. Items will be made of 100% natural snow without any embankment. They must be excellent as we’ve got plenty of snow over the last two nights. They are going to be open tomorrow, on Apr.2 (Tue).
