Tsugaike Kogen / ◎295cm / Snowy & Cloudy2019.Mar.16
It started snowing slightly around Chukan Station from a gondola and it became bigger at Sancho Station. There were no wind, so we didn’t feel so cold as the official announcement. It was so good to slide down with about 1cm fresh snow on the groomed burns alone Hannoki high-speed pair lift.

The snow was compacted along Hannoki the 3rd quad lift like Hannoki high-speed pair lift, but the 1cm fresh snow became wet a little bit. A man from Tokyo (the light of the photo) said, “I always check your reports! I have a second house in Hakuba, so I often come and ski here. Today I came with a beginner, so we chose Tsugaike.”

The gases around the top of the slopes were cleared up around the end of Hannoki Slope. The wet snow had been groomed in Maruyama Slope, so we could repeat turning at a high speed.

A family from Osaka said, “We come herb Tsugaike twice a year. At this time, we will stay until next Monday. We are glad there was snow in this period.” It was really good to slide down on the nice burn like Maruyama, but we couldn’t see well because of gases.
