Tsugaike Kogen / ◎170cm / Light snow2019.Jan.11

19011101_tsugaikeIt snowed weaker suddenly in the early morning and the sun shined in. The wind was blowing strongly last night and we found unique snow ripples in Shirakaba Slope(photo). The schedule of gondolas from Chukan station was delayed because of the maintenance at the Sancho station, so we head to the top of the slope using Shirakaba quad and Hannoki the 3rd quad.

19011102_tsugaikeWe could enjoy sliding with 3cm light fresh snow on the soft powdered burn in the compacted area of Hannoki Slope and Shirakaba Slope. There was about 10cm powdered snow in the south of Hannoki the 3rd quad (photo). The ups and downs of the base was soft and good to slide.

19011103_tsugaikeThe cloud in the sky was running from north to south and the sun shined and went behind the clouds by turns. The condition of Champion Slope with compacted was also good with the powdered snow. After skiers and snowboarders left many traces, we could enjoy sliding as our likes scattering  the light snow.

19011104_tsugaikeThe gondolas began to work at 9:00 after an announcement. Every slope was not so clouded because three days holiday will start from tomorrow, so we could enjoy the wonderful snow to the full. By the way, we are going to open Shirakaba Slope and Karanatsu Slope earlier than usual on Jan. 13th( Sun.) and 14th ( Mon.)
