There are fewest people on weekdays in January out of the season. We had about 15cm fresh snow on the non compacted snow in Tsuga nomori Slope from last night but there were only few people. We could enjoy ‘ a little’ floating feeling with the good condition snow.

We felt cold because of the north wind with some snow. ” yeah! We always read your reports!” the group from Shizuoka talked to us. We could slide on a compacted flat burn with 5〜8cm fresh snow in the compacted area of Tsuga nomori and the whole area of Han-no-ki.

There is 5cm fresh snow on the harder compacted snow in Maruyama Slope compared with Han-no-ki. There were also few people and we saw only some trace even one hour after Maruyama the 1st quad began to work.

The wind became weaker around Gondola middle station and it snowed lightly. We saw some families and beginners sliding slowly on the compacted burn with 3〜4cm fresh snow.
