Tsugaike Kogen / ◎350cm / Sunny2018.Mar.04
It was sunny and the mild and weak wind blew at the top of the ski area. “I always enjoy your reports! I often come to Tsugaike, but this is the first time to see you.”, a visitor from Nagoya city, Aichi gave me the watchword. The slope was groomed firm at Tsuga-no-mori, so I could ski fast and comfortably.

The snow was shaved by the edges at the groomed slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair. When I rode down to the middle of Han-no-ki, the surface of the snow melted a little. The layer of corn snow was thin, and the bottom was nicely firm, so it was in good condition to ski. But as I skied down snow got softer and softer.

Every ski slope was in the atmosphere of spring. Three visitors from Chiba talked to me, “We always enjoy your reports! Yesterday and today it was hot! Although the snow got melted, we are fully enjoying snowboarding!”

On skier’s right of Champion was not groomed and there remained deep ski tracks, so the slope was very rough. On the left, the snow was groomed, but the layer of corn snow got thick, as I skied down, same as Han-no-ki. Oya-no-hara was crowded with families and beginners. The slope was very soft and skis were not running well. (Tsugaike Kogen report will not update tomorrow, March 5.)
