Although it rained whole day yesterday, dry snow was falling this morning. The granular snow of the slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Chair was groomed finely and the skis were running well. But the visibility was very low and I must slow down.

The wind was weak but the sun wasn’t shone, so I felt cold. The granular snow was groomed nicely firm from the middle and nice condition to ski. The non-groomed area on skier’s right was rough and very hard.

The visibility got better as I skied down to Shirakaba. The slope was firmer than Han-no-ki and there were some snow balls but I could ski comfortably. The upper part of Umanose was closed and only the last part was opened.

The fresh slope remained even at 9:30 a.m. in Oya-no-hara. The slope was groomed nicely firm granular snow condition. A man from Osaka Pref. said with smile, “My girlfriend is struggling to snowboard because she came to snowboarding after long time.” His girlfriend was also enjoying lesson from the boyfriend.
