In spite of the weather forecast of snowing, we had a sunny day. A man who I met at the gondola station also said, “I come skiing with an expectation of powdery snow…, but it’s fine.” In the upper part of the ski resort, it was blowing a strong wind and the snow on the ridge was blew away.

We had a snowfall in the last early evening and the amount of fresh snow was 20cm in the upper area and 10cm in lower area. The groomed slopes were in good condition, thanks to the good snow. Every time we make curving, the snow spray was raised.

In the early morning, most of experts and intermediates went up to Han-no-ki and Tsuga-no-mori, so the lower parts, such as Kane-no-naru-oka No.2 and Maruyama were so quiet that I feel like skiing in a private slope. It was a great pleasure to make the first track on the fresh slopes.

Along Tsugaike No.1 Pair Lift, the flags are put and anyone can ski into there. By the way, the fresh snow in the off-piste areas was very light and fluffy, however, the amount was much less than yesterday.
