Tsugaike Kogen / ◎260cm / Slightly Cloudy2018.Jan.05

18010501_tsugaikeThis was first clam and fine morning in 5 days. I’m happy to see North Alps lit by the sun. However, the officially announced temperature has been under -10 degree 3 days in a row. I thought wearing high-loft outfits was the best way to stay here.
[Gondola]
18010502_tsugaikeIt’s been busy these days! People seemed they got New Year’s holiday until Jan 8th. Han-no-ki was popular all day and many people went to Sawa course and One course too.
[Han-no-ki]
18010503_tsugaikeUma-no-se cource is often open just after the ski resort is open this season, so turn-out in Tsuga-no-mori was later than I thought. I enjoyed making ski trails on the beautiful corduroy pattern of snow.
[Tsuga-no-mori]
18010504_tsugaikeThe quality of powder snow was perfect. Tsuga-no-mori, Han-no-ki, Kanenaru, Kanenaru No.2, Maruyama, Shirakaba and Oya-no-hara… All of them are groomed well! The tightness, the biting of edges and the flat surface are wonderful. The central parking lot was full at 9:30 a.m..
