Around 8 a.m., the sunlight slightly came on the bottom part of ski area through clouds but it kept snowing on the upper part. 25cm fresh snow was on steep slopes go down to Tsuga No.1 Pair and Gotenba Course. I was impressed by the advanced making snow spray.

The central part of Tsuga-no-mori which was groomed and the sides along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair were in good conditions so that I could ski comfortably. It was officially-10 degrees below. Sometimes the strong wind blew hardly and it was very cold which was so January.

“We always enjoy your articles. We came here with other families but we went our own way and enjoyed powdered snow” a family came from Toyama prefecture said. Though New Years holidays already gone, a lot of families and other customers came to the ski area today as well.

I could make turns feeling the ground at from the middle to the bottom part of Han-no-ki. When I got to the bortom part, it was snowing hard that the groomed mark on Oya-no-hara was hidden by about 5cm fresh snow.
