The clouds was up high so that I saw the Northern Alps entirely. Since it is New Years Eve, Kane-no-naru-oka which usually get crowded later was already crowded in earlier time. Many people gathered but the slope was so wide and groomed, so I could enjoy skiing comfortably.

At Kid’s Park where a 50m belt conveyer is installed, lots of children and their parents were having lots of fun (10:00-15:00, JPY500, a parent gets free). A lot of people gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!” here as usual.

Kane-no-naru-oka No.2 which is located higher area was not crowded at all. I felt bad that less people were on the vast and gentle slope. The bottom part of the ski area was very calm with no winds and warm temperature. The central parking area which is located near gondola was getting full The west side was already full and the east was almost full at the time of 7:00.

The top of the ski area was very cold with strong wind in this morning. Thanks to the perfect powdered snow I could go down to Han-no-ki through the flat and moderately firm slopes. A lot of people said hello to me but especially people from “Team Sasurai” made variety of poses. Thank you so much. I hope to see them again.
