We started our report from Tsuga No.2 Pair today as well as yesterday. The snow from the last evening stopped at the midnight and today, it got sunny. From the middle to the upper part of the slope, the strong wind sometimes blew, but the gondola began working on time at 8:00 a.m. The snow was groomed widely at Tsuga-no-mori and the snow was soft and powdery.

In the morning, almost all advanced skiers and snowboarders who took off the lift at the top went to Uma-no-se. When I entered without stopping the groomed snow at the gentle slope along the ridge and drop-in the steep non groomed area, the snow dust whipped up! I heard cheering, such as, “Wonderful!””Amazing!”

A man from Itoigawa city, Niigata prefecture said, “I always enjoy your reports! There was a little snow as I had expected.” Certainly, it was rugged under about 30cm of the fresh snow, so we hopped when we skied without any attention.

The member in snow scoot group, who gathered from Gunma in the north to Shizuoka in the south, gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!” At the central part of Shirakaba, about 70% of the slope was groomed and the snow was nicely soft. At the both sides of the non-groomed area, the snow was light, soft and in good condition to ski.
