Happy New Year! We wish you all the best for this year. It didn’t snow a lot, 10-15 cm of the fresh snow at the top and of 3cm at the bottom. The sun occasionally peeked through the clouds this morning and it was snowing quietly.

Han-no-ki area was groomed widely and got 1-2 cm of fresh snow. The slope was flat and soft and the fresh snow felt nice, so I could make good turns just as I wanted. The non groomed area at the middle was bumpy under about 15cm of fresh snow.

At around 9 a.m, the fog covered the ski area and snow started to fall heavily. The temperature was high and the snow was a little bit wet at the bottom of ski area.

The groomed slope of Champion area was in a good condition but visibility was poor because of the fog. Some skiers enjoyed a day on the slope in spite of the poor visibility.
