The snow have fallen since the early morning. We expected for powdery snow, but the Gondola didn’t move from Gondola Central Station to the upper part because of the inspection. When we went to Shirakaba at 8:00 a.m., about 10cm of fresh snow piled up there.

Many visitors took Han-no-ki High Speed Pair and Tsuga No2 Pair and then took Han-no-ki No3 Quad, not went to the top of the ski slope. From the middle to the bottom part of Han-no-ki and One course, the slope was properly tight, 5cm of the snow on the groomed part was light and soft. So we could ski comfortably and fast there.

The Gondola from the Central Station to the Summit Station began the operation at 9:24 a.m. The woman from Toyama said that she waited for her friend and would go the summit by the Gondola together.

The slope seemed to be groomed early at Oya-no-hara, therefore 10cm of the fresh snow piled up on the properly tight foundation. There were few people even at 9:30 and there were few ski tracks on the slope. The snowfall gradually got stronger and covered the ski tracks.
