The sunshine softly came through clouds so it was a calm morning. The snow from yesterday made trees and slope white and it was great view from gondola. It was -9 degrees which was icy cold but the quality of snow was perfect.

The amount of fresh snow from yesterday was only 5cm on Tsuga-no-mori. The groomed area was moderately soft and in a good condition to ski. Talking about TSUGAPOW DBD area, the gate 1 and 2 of Tsuga tree area are available.

The both sides of Han-no-ki high speed pair were groomed and moderately soft. A man who made a day trip from Toyama said to me “Good morning. It’s been four years since I started to use a seasonal pass. I usually come here to snowboard but I’m wearing ski today for the first time in 14 years”.

Shirakaba was moderately hard so that I could ski at more speeds than when I went down the groomed area of the upper part of ski area. It is also widely groomed and that made me feel Iike I try Shirakaba slope as much as possible.
