It got foggy and clear on the upper part of the ski area and the fog made a fantastic view sometimes. 2 snowboarders from Matsukawa Vill. in Nagano greeted me, “We always enjoy your reports! We met you in the last season. Today, we are looking for you again!”

It got cold again with the temperature of -2.5 degrees and the slope became a little hard after melting because of the rain and warm weather yesterday. However, the edges of my skis worked well.

Tsuga No.2 Pair in Tsuga-no-mori was late for opening, so people went to the slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair. There were some people, but not so much because today was a weekday, so the slope was kept flat for a long while.

After course checking, Tsuga No.2 Pair started the operation at 9:30 a.m. The slope of Tsuga-no-mori was not groomed this morning, so it was in difficult condition. Besides, the ground was exposed in the beginning and bottom parts. The blue sky was covered with the clouds at 10:00 a.m. and it started to snow slightly with the west wind.
