The brand new restaurant “JACKY’S Kitchen” is open every day from 9:00 a.m. ! They have curry and rice, some plates (grilled chicken, loco moco etc). They also promote “Tsugaike Ouen Curry (1,000yen)” and “JACKY’S Plate (1,860yen)”, both of them include drinks and soup.

It was sunny with no winds and under the such a great weather, groomed slope of Tsuga-no-mori was in pretty good condition. The skis were running well and the edges bit the snow nicely. On the other hand, snow on both sides of the slope were firm.

Since it was -1 degree, I did not feel that cold today. The sun light warmed me up, even when I was just standing still. The slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was in good condition so that I could ski comfortably, but I felt I needed a sunblock.

Around 9:30 a.m, more and more people started skiing and snowboarding as well but I could ski feeling relaxed. There seemed a lot of families spending a time in a relax way and people were practicing snowboarding and Telemark skiing.
