Tsugaike Kogen / △100cm / Sunny & Cloudy2017.Nov.27
It had been raining since yesterday evening at the foot of the slope. However, fortunately, snow fell about 10 cm deep in the upper area of the ski resort. A dense fog laid to the area around Gondola Summit Station due to high temperature and humidity this morning. However, I could enjoy a view of the Nothern Alps soaring to the sky at Tsuganomori Slope.

However, the view got obstructed in a short while and Tsuganomori Slope gradually got covered in white. People from Nagano, Chikuma and Tokyo gave me the watchword, “We always read your report! We will climb to Tenguppara today.” They set off, equipped with ski and snow snowshoes marked with seals.

Although the amount of new snow was not so much, tracks on the non-compacted areas of Tsuga-no-mori Slope got disappeared. The compacted area, which was about 15 meters in width, was soft and nice. The area along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair Lift was all well-compacted. Although it was difficult to run at high speed due to the quality of the snow and bad visibility, I could still enjoy skiing down.

Another group who gave me the watchword, “we always read your reports”, was a father and 3 year-old daughter from Otari Village. It was their second time to visit here. They posed for a picture with smiling, saying “it doesn’t hurt even if we fall down” because the slope was soft.
