We were favored with a calm sunny morning. In Tsuga-no-mori, I could hear comfortable sounds of good snow and the slope was still in fine condition!! The well groomed run was nicely soft and it was a big pleasure to make the first track on the fresh slope.

The slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was also good to ski and nicely firm. After that, the snow changed into corn snow when I came down to the middle part of Han-no-ki. There were clouds in the sky and they blocked off the sunlight often, so the slopes did not get melting too much soon.

The lower part was nicely firm. I found many experts skiing down a long run at once by using the gondola and Han-no-ki No.3.

Shirakaba was widely groomed and nicely firm. The edges of my skis worked well, so I could make turns as I imagined. The ski area was not so busy until 9:00 a.m. and then, more and more people started to ski.
