We could see the blue sky and the peaks of Northern Alps during in the gondola, but the clouds gathered very fast and it got thickly foggy sometimes in Tsuga-no-mori. The slope was flat, nicely soft and in good condition!

When I came down to the slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair, the clouds broke up. The snow was still not corn snow and nicely firm. A staff of Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field was enjoying skiing with her nephew. Although this was the first time for him to ski today, he could ski down from the top to the bottom!!

As I went down, the snow changed into corn snow in the middle part of Han-no-ki. After that, the layer of melting snow got thicker and thicker, so it became more difficult to turn. By the way, it was snowing last night and there was 5cm fluffy fresh snow in the upper areas.

Whole slope of Champion was groomed and covered with damp heavy snow. I met a group of “TANUKICHIKUN”, a snow scooter team, and they gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!” In Oya-no-hara and Karamatsu, there was also damp fresh snow and it made me slow down suddenly when I skied into there.
