Tsugaike Kogen / ◎360cm / Snowy2017.Mar.24

In early in the morning, a lady from Hyogo Pref. gave me the watchword and said that she enjoyed Helicopter Skiing & Snowboarding yesterday. She also said, “Snow was powdery & fluffy at the top of mountain and it was great!”

Snow was falling from last evening to this morning and there were about 15 cm fresh dry snow at the upper part of the ski area. But the run under fresh snow was corn snow and I couldn’t enjoy the powdery snow that much. The middle part of the ski area was covered with fog sometimes.

The groomed run of Han-no-ki was firm corn snow from the beginning to the end and covered with 2-3 cm fresh snow. The run was flat and I could make turns comfortably.

Interestingly, snowfall became heavier as I skied down to the bottom. At Shirakaba strong north wind was blowing and it was like a snowstorm. 3 people from Osaka Pref. gave me a pose. The runs of the bottom of ski area were nicely melted corn snow and covered with wet fresh snow.
