It was high-cloudy weather this morning. Strong wind was blowing at the upper part of the ski area and I saw the snow was rolled up by the wind at the ridge of Northern Alps. But the helicopter was flying rapidly between the intermediate station and Tenguppara.
[Tsuga-no-mori]
The snowfall of last two days, has widely been improved the condition of Tsuga-no-mori. The snow was not powdery but it was nice snow. The run was groomed well and nicely firm and I could ski comfortably. By the way, skier’s right of the course was closed for making HIT PARK.

The nicely firm run of Han-no-ki was covered with 3-4 cm fresh snow and I could ski with speed comfortably. I was surprised that the slope of Shirakaba, located at middle to lower part of the ski area, was also non-corn snow. The run was flat & soft and a man from Hakuba skied down with beautiful turns.

A couple from Chino City, Nagano Pref. posed me with big smile. The slopes of Karamatsu and Oya-no-hara were also flat and skiing was easy. The visitors turnout slowly and the fresh run remained even at 10 a.m.
