It was colder than yesterday and the dry snow was falling still. The fog broke up during I climbed up by the gondola and I could see the fresh slope of Umanose. This course was closed yesterday, so the good powdery snow was expected.

The beginning part of Umanose was groomed and covered with 10cm fresh snow. After that, when I skied into the steep slope after the first corner, there was over 30cm snowfall!! The run under the fresh snow was a little hard, but I could enjoy the feel of floating.

In the lower ridge course, the bumps got deeper and harder. After skied down such a difficult slope, a skier said, “The bumps are hard, but I am so glad to have this good powdery snow!” with a smile.

I met 2 people from Nagano City, Nagano Pref, in the early morning. They said they would go into “TSUGA POW DBD” area after riding in Tsuga-no-mori once. By the way, the amount of snowfall was 10cm in Shirakaba and 6cm in Oya-no-hara in the lower part.
